At Ryokan Omori we have long offered “a drink in the open-air bath,” and we have announced it by season on the blog. This time we made flyers and posted them — and overnight guests from overseas can now use the program too.

Guests seem to enjoy the soak with a drink, looking out at the new greenery.

A drink in the open-air bath

The set is available at the rooftop baths Roman and Honoka. It costs ¥1,650. The sake is either Akagisan or Tanigawadake, about 270 ml — named for mountains you can see from the bath.

Shared rooftop hours: 15:00–19:00. Call the front desk from your room. We will call when the set is ready. Pick it up at the front desk and return it there after bathing. We cannot deliver an order placed from inside the bath. In the shared baths, enjoy it before dinner and do not combine it with drinks at the evening meal. If the set is not returned, a ¥3,000 replacement fee may be charged.

Nagomi, the private rooftop bath, is also available: from 15:00 until the last slot at 23:00. Reserve by phone before you bathe; a staff member will bring the set at your reserved time.
