Ikaho Onsen Kajika Bridge Autumn Foliage Illumination 2026
The autumn foliage around Kajika Bridge will be illuminated during the dates below. Located deep within Ikaho Onsen, the bridge stands beside the hot spring source and the Ikaho Open-Air Bath.
Enjoy the enchanting sight of autumn leaves glowing against the night sky.
Illuminations will also begin on Saturday, October 31 around the pond at the Former Hawaiian Minister’s Villa, on the right as you ascend the Stone Steps, and at the plaza at the foot of the steps.

This year, a special event featuring local geigi (traditional Japanese entertainers), “The Light of Hot Springs and Geigi Culture,” will also take place on the last Saturday of October.

Kajika Bridge’s parking lot becomes extremely busy each year. On some days, the wait for a parking space can be around two hours. We recommend using another paid parking lot or walking from your ryokan.
