Day-use bathing at Ikaho Onsen (2026)
At Ryokan Omori you can enjoy Ikaho’s Shirogane-no-Yu without staying overnight, on selected dates. This page gathers the latest 2026 schedule, the baths day visitors can use, the spring water, hours and fees, parking, and the private open-air bath Nagomi.
Latest information for 2026
Day-use bathing is open for a limited period from Thursday 13 August through Sunday 4 October 2026. It is closed every Tuesday and Wednesday, and from Tuesday 1 through Friday 4 September 2026. The New Year notice is out of date; please read this page before you come. If you plan to visit around a holiday, call +81 279-72-2611.
Baths for day visitors
Day visitors may use the rooftop open-air baths Roman and Honoka at 800 meters, and the indoor baths Rakurakuyu. The rooftop views change with the seasons — spring green, autumn leaves, and winter snow. During day-use hours, Roman is for men and Honoka for women.
Rooftop open-air bath Roman
Roman is a spacious garden-style rooftop bath. From 800 meters you can see Mount Akagi, the Hotaka range, Mount Komochi, Mount Onoko, and the Tanigawa range. By day the mountains; after sunset, the stars. Day visitors can soak here with the same view overnight guests enjoy.
Rooftop open-air bath Honoka
Honoka is a hinoki rooftop bath with a quieter feel. It shares the same 800-meter outlook toward Mount Akagi and the surrounding ranges. Choose Honoka if you prefer a more enclosed, fragrant cypress setting.
Indoor baths Rakurakuyu
Rakurakuyu is a wide indoor bath that uses hot-spring water together with a circulation system. On rainy or windy days, use it with the rooftop baths. Guests with tattoos cannot use the large public baths; please reserve the private bath Nagomi instead.
About Shirogane-no-Yu
Ikaho Onsen has two springs: Shirogane-no-Yu (Silver Hot Spring) and Kogane-no-Yu. Our open-air and indoor baths use Shirogane-no-Yu, a clear, colorless spring with an abundant flow. It is a simple hot spring containing metasilicic acid, traditionally enjoyed for recovery from fatigue and its gentle feel on the skin.
